Our Story

Horses Healing Hearts started in 2009, sparked by the incredible journey of Lizabeth Olszewski. Growing up with alcoholic parents, Liz’s life changed forever when a caring aunt took her in, providing the love and support she needed. Her experience with a horse, a mentor, and that emotional support became the heart of what we do today.                                                                                

What We Do

Our Children’s’ Prevention Program is all about helping children who are dealing with the impact of parental addiction. Through supportive peer groups, powerful equine-assisted therapy, and a curriculum by SAMHSA & NACoA, (National Association for Children of Addiction), Horses Healing Hearts gives these kids hope, a sense of community, and the confidence to build a brighter, drug-free future. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, a team player, and able to consistently meet aggressive collection goals. We have great A/R Support, great benefits and a great team. 

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point person for office manager duties including: maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, shopping
• Schedule meetings and appointments
• Organize the office layout and order stationery and equipment
• Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
• Partner with HR to update and maintain office policies as necessary
• Organize office operations and procedures
• Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
• Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time
• Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers and office lease
• Manage office General and Administrative budget, ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Provide general support to visitors
• Assist in the onboarding process for new hires
• Address employees queries regarding office management issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware and travel arrangements)
• Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services
• Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations and conferences
