The Telephone Operator will Coordinate guest services by providing prompt service for bell & valet requests, also support front desk processes.

Essential Job Functions

Act as dispatch for security, guest services, tram service, housekeeping and property operations employees. Provide timely information via communication system in response to guest requests.
Promptly answer the telephone calls, greet callers with a positive and clear voice. Listen attentively to the caller to ascertain the purpose of the call to ensure connection to another department is accurate.
Accurately transcribe messages as requested. Input and retrieve those messages when asked, reading and verbally reciting message for the guest.
Receive wake-up call requests, accurately putting requested time into the automated system and confirming times with the guest.
Answer basic questions regarding the resort, amenities and operations to prevent unnecessary transfers.
Be responsive to guest requests and complete log sheet(s) as appropriate. Weekly file all log sheets, ensuring all are completed in full.
