Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000

The Accounting Manager is a member of the accounting team whose primary responsibility is accounting for consolidation and monthly / year-end closings. The successful candidate should have experience in public accounting and be proficient at consolidation and corporate accounting. Exposure to real accounting is a plus. This position reports to the Corporate VP Finance. This is a fulltime position and located in San Francisco, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Perform monthly consolidation
Financial statement presentation
Review monthly closings
Maintain the Loan schedule
Review for accuracy the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements. Prepare adjusting journal entries for review/approval.
Work with auditors and respond to auditor inquiries for financial statements and for tax matters
Assist the Accounting Team with other ad-hoc projects as needed

WHAT WE NEED:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
3+ years of experience in public accounting
CPA Required
Solid knowledge of GAAP Accounting
Excellent Excel experience.
Strong organizational skill and attention to detail in preparing schedules including reconciliations
Proactive learner who enjoys solving problems and a variety of challenges
Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work product
Provide technical expertise to assigned entities
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Ability to work independently with limited direction from manager
Real Estate experience is required

Preferred:

5+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public/private
Preparation of consolidated financial statements experience
