Hotel Washington is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Part-timeHost/Hostess to join our VUE team! HW is an organization whose success is rooted in its service culture. Job Duties And Responsibilities

Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Schedules dining reservations and arranges special services for dinners. 

Maintain setup of proper dining room

Can communicate well with guest

Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness 

The ideal candidate will be organized and able to work with a sense of urgency and seeking guest satisfaction

Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times

Ability to effectively handle customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner

Perform various other duties as assigned  

Education And Experience

Minimum of High School education

Minimum of one (1) year in similar role preferred

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Team player 

Ability to multi-task

Ability to communicate effectively verbally 

Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members 

Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.

Basic mathematical skills as needed to make change and give refunds

Ability to work flexible hours and shifts

Customer Service oriented a must
