Food Server - Kasumi Restaurant

Waterstone Resort & Marina, a Curio Collection by Hilton property, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Restaurant Server to join our team!  Our resort is on the Boca Inlet overlooking the Boca Bay. Modern Japanese restaurant, Kasumi is settled within our Heart of Hospitality, the Heart of our Resort.  SHG is an organization whose success is rooted in its service culture.  Our mission is to exude hospitality, be respectful and authentic, and continuously strive to make a positive impact in all we do. Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement: Greet and welcome guests warmly, providing a memorable first impression
• Menu Expertise: Recommend menu items, with detailed knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods
• Order Accuracy: Take precise food and beverage orders, relaying them accurately to the kitchen and bar, including special requests and dietary restrictions
• Service Excellence: Deliver food and beverages promptly with high attention to detail, ensuring exceptional presentation
• Guest Satisfaction: Address guest needs and concerns promptly and professionally to ensure an exceptional dining experience
• Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including table settings and service stations
• Team Collaboration: Assist in setting up and breaking down tables and dining areas, working seamlessly with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow
• Transaction Handling: Handle payment transactions accurately and efficiently
• Health and Safety: Always adhere to health and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe sanitary environment
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Education And Experience

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel/restaurant serving role

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Knowledge: Strong understanding of food and beverage, including sake and wine pairings
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professionalism: Professional appearance and demeanor
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods and lift to 25 pounds
• Availability: Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of POS systems
