The Rooms Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless hotel operations by overseeing both housekeeping assignments and front office functions. This position is responsible for managing and assigning daily housekeeping boards in the morning, handling reservations and guest inquiries in the afternoon, and conducting room inspections at the end of the day. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to providing exceptional guest service. The rate of pay for this position has a range of $24-$26 per hour.

Housekeeping Coordination:

• Assign daily housekeeping boards to room attendants and ensure efficient workflow.
• Communicate room priorities and special requests to the housekeeping team.
• Monitor room status updates and coordinate with the front desk for timely room availability.
• Inspect guest rooms for cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, cleanliness standards, and safety regulations.

Front Office & Reservations:

• Handle upcoming and current reservations, including booking, modifications, and cancellations.
• Verify payment information for hotel guests and ensure accurate billing.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel facilities and services in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and process all internal and external calls, redirecting as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and reservations to ensure data integrity.
• Liaise with the Sales and other departments as required to enhance guest experiences.
• Guest Experience & Service Excellence:
• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Take initiative to add personalized touches that enhance the guest experience.
• Listen, empathize, and resolve guest concerns while ensuring complete satisfaction.
• Uphold Radisson Blu’s Yes I Can! service culture, ensuring that every guest receives genuine hospitality.
• Perform additional duties as required to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of hotel front desk, housekeeping, or customer service experience.
• Experience with Opera or other hotel management systems preferred.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in basic computer and math skills.

Physical Demands:

• Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to perform manual tasks such as handling office equipment and conducting room inspections.

The hotel business functions seven days a week, 24 hours a day. All associates must realize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to move associates from their accustomed shift and alter assigned duties as business dictates. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be maintained at all times
