Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of In-Room Dining, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain service excellence.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, front office, and housekeeping to ensure smooth service flow.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for in-room dining supplies, including food, beverages, and service ware.
- Ensure a high level of personalized service, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
- Address and resolve guest complaints professionally to maintain high satisfaction scores.
- Maintain a strong presence in guest areas, ensuring staff adheres to service standards.
- Implement and monitor feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the in-room dining experience.
- Recruit, train, and supervise in-room dining staff, fostering a culture of hospitality and teamwork.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team effectiveness.
- Schedule and assign shifts to ensure adequate coverage while managing labor costs effectively.
- Analyze sales trends and implement strategies to increase revenue through upselling and promotional programs.
- Ensure accurate billing and reconciliation of in-room dining transactions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in all In-Room Dining operations.
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and hygiene standards in accordance with local laws and company policies.
- Conduct regular training sessions on food safety, service protocols, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in food & beverage operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of In-Room Dining operations, food service etiquette, and POS systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate a POS (point of sale) system and computer
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
