Restaurant Supervisor

AM/PM Restaurant/Bar supervisor $21.00-23.00/hrSaturday & Sunday AM shiftsTwo - Three PM shiftsPrimary Objective of Restaurant Supervisor Position: The primary objective of the Restaurant Supervisor is to deliver an excellent first and last impression to all guests and to provide accurate information over the phone and in person in a friendly and efficient manner. Supervises shifts to ensure that servers, bussers and bartenders are following company procedures and standards of service at all times.ResponsibilitiesAccountable for quality service for the guests in the restaurantEnsure that staff takes breaks when needed, covering their area if neededPerforms table touches to ensure quality service and immediately corrects any problemsMaintain thorough knowledge of restaurant and bar menusSchedule and arranges parties or special services/amenities for patronsAssign work tasks & coordinates activities of restaurant and lounge personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patronsInspect lounge and dining room for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other suppliesInitial interviews and assists with training of new hiresMay assist with creating weekly staff scheduleAcquires a working knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities, and local information to respond to customer questions in these areas as requiredMust be available nights, weekends and all HolidaysOther duties may be assigned as needed

Physical Demands & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must also be able to go up and down a flight of stairs while carrying up to 25 pounds. The employee may be frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise is usually moderate to loud.
