Position: Guest Services Supervisor Leadership is about guiding a team toward excellence, ensuring every guest feels valued and every detail is attended to with care.

Primary Objective Supervise and assist in the smooth operation of the Front Desk, ensuring Guest Service Agents and Bell staff perform their duties with professionalism, warmth, and a focus on creating exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Guest Arrival & Departure: Greet, register, and assign rooms while ensuring all check-in and check-out procedures are handled efficiently and discreetly.
• Guest Assistance: Address inquiries about hotel services and local attractions with accuracy and enthusiasm, acting as a knowledgeable resource for guests.
• Records & Reservations: Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts. Manage reservations, including confirmations and cancellations, with precision.
• Payments & Charges: Process bills, collect payments, and handle charges for rooms, food, and other services with attention to detail.
• Communication: Manage messages and coordinate information flow through phone, email, and other channels.
• Policies & Procedures: Ensure company credit policies are upheld, handle deposits, and manage financial records with thoroughness.
• Leadership: Support the Department Manager by assigning tasks, overseeing staff performance, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Problem Solving: Take ownership of issues, resolving them promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Difficult Situations: Handle challenging scenarios with professionalism, tact, and effective communication.
• Driving Duties: Occasionally operate the company vehicle to assist with guest transportation needs, ensuring safety and courtesy.
• Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support operations and maintain exceptional service standards.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds are regular requirements. Be prepared to handle stairs while carrying lighter loads when necessary.
• Work conditions may include outdoor exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Noise levels can fluctuate based on lobby activity and guest interactions.
