Description of the role:

The Director of Housekeeping at Arlo Chicago is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness

Manage and train a team of housekeeping staff, including conducting regular performance evaluations

Supervise and inspect the cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas

Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of housekeeping services

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and worked with the Finance department to order necessary items

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace

Requirements:

Prior experience in a housekeeping management role

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Strong attention to detail

Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Bilingual
