Job Description

As a Recreation Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional programs and services. From lifeguarding to fitness instruction, you’ll interact positively with guests and promote our hotel facilities. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in all areas of recreation, including lifeguard duties, fitness attendant tasks, and team-building activities.
Maintaining an updated training manual and ensuring program safety.
Developing and implementing poolside programming during the summer months.
Coordinating activities for the weekly calendar and assisting with corporate group recreation events.
Handling disciplinary concerns and maintaining equipment for outdoor lawn games.
Being an integral part of the Fitness Center as a Fitness Attendant.
Collaborating with other departments to meet customer service needs.

Essential Qualifications

Available to work weekends and holidays.
Bachelor’s Degree in recreation, education, or hospitality (preferred).
Minimum of three years of experience in Resort Recreation operations.
Current CPR and First Aid Certification (required).
Red Cross Lifeguard certification (preferred).
