What You’ll Do:

As a Banquet Houseperson, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring our events run smoothly and our spaces look stunning. You’ll be responsible for:

Setting Up and Breaking Down: Prepare rooms and spaces to meet the high standards of Marriott’s world-class events by setting up tables, chairs, and banquet equipment.
Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Keep event areas neat and organized, ensuring a pristine appearance for every guest.
Assist Guests and Team Members: Work closely with the banquet team to meet guest needs, support event flow, and deliver exceptional service at all times.
Attention to Detail: Inspect all setups to ensure they align with guest requests and company standards, making adjustments as needed to create an inviting atmosphere.
Anticipate Needs: Think ahead to understand and proactively address what will make each event a seamless success.

Physical Stamina: This role requires lifting, moving, and setting up/breaking down furniture and equipment.
Team Spirit: Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible Schedule: Availability to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, based on event schedules.
Experience Preferred: Previous experience in event setup or a similar hospitality role is beneficial but not required. We’re willing to train the right candidate who brings enthusiasm and dedication.
