As the Assistant Front Office Manager at Hyatt Centric Wall Street, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests feel welcomed and valued. You’ll work closely with the Front Office Manager to uphold our high service standards, manage our dedicated team, and create memorable moments for our guests.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory front desk role.
  • Education: High School Diploma required; Associate degree or higher preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Experience: Ensure all guest interactions are warm, friendly, and professional. Address guest needs proactively to exceed expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a positive work environment by mentoring and developing team members, encouraging growth and cooperation.
  • Training & Development: Oversee comprehensive training programs to equip your team with the knowledge they need to succeed, including local area insights and brand standards.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open lines of communication to ensure timely and accurate follow-up on guest requests and operational needs.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage departmental expenses and labor effectively, ensuring alignment with budget forecasts and hotel goals.
  • Revenue Management: Support upselling initiatives and loyalty program enrollments to maximize revenue and occupancy.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor guest satisfaction scores and lead initiatives to enhance service quality, aiming for excellence in all areas.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a welcoming and clean environment for guests.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Property Management Systems (PMS) and possess strong computer literacy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of local attractions and transportation options.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends, in line with hotel needs.

Physical Demands:This role involves being on your feet for extended periods and may require some lifting.
