Salary Range: $120,000-$130,000

Stanford Hotels Corporation is looking for an experienced Corporate Accountant to join their Accounting team!

The Corporate Senior Accountant is a member of the finance and accounting team and reports to the VP of Finance.

Job Duties:

Review and analyze month-end closing and consolidation for accuracy and completeness.
Perform monthly analysis and review of balance sheet reconciliation and consolidated financial statements
Assist with developing and applying the proper accounting treatment for complex and/or unusual transactions.
Maintain debt schedule and prepare financial reports and analyses requested by financial institutions.
Provide support on matters related to property tax.
Prepare documentation to support annual review/audit process.
Provide all information required for the preparation of annual tax return.
Develop and document standard financial/accounting processes.
Provide support on special projects assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting and minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate accounting environment.
Certified Public Accountant is preferred.
At least 1 year of public accounting in the U.S. is preferred
Knowledge of GAAP and experience in consolidated financial reporting.

Qualifications

Conscientious, initiative and ability to work independently with minimal direction
Good GAAP and financial reporting technical skills
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite projects, particularly advance Excel skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities; solid time management skills and organized – ability to meet assigned deadlines
