Position Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales and Events Manager to join our team at 504 Golf, a leading golf entertainment venue in the heart of New Orleans. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, event planning, providing exceptional customer experiences and building new connections within the New Orleans community. This role involves managing all aspects of event sales, coordinating with clients, and ensuring seamless execution of events.
$40,000 annual base salary plus commission.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calls, networking, and digital marketing.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and individuals to drive repeat business.
Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets by proactively selling event packages and corporate memberships.
Proposals & Contracts: Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and presentations for potential clients, ensuring all client needs are met.
Event Planning & Coordination
Event Design: Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, creating personalized event experiences.
Coordination: Liaise with internal teams (catering, operations, entertainment) to ensure smooth execution of events.
Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors for event supplies, entertainment, and other services as required.
Logistics: Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring all aspects of the event run smoothly and efficiently.
Marketing & Promotions
Campaigns: In collaboration with the General Manager, develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and drive attendance.
Social Media: Utilize social media platforms to create buzz and engage with potential clients and event attendees.
Brand Representation: Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions to promote our venue and services.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, event planning, or a related field.
Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & events simultaneously.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM software and Hospitality/Restaurant operations technology.
Outgoing, proactive, and customer-focused mindset with a passion for creating memorable experiences.
Working Conditions
