Hilton Charlotte Uptown is seeking an experienced Culinary professional to join our team! The Cook role will include culinary functions with a restaurant and banquet focus. This role will rotate within hot line stations, banquet menu order preparation and saute & grill stations. Candidate must have at least one year of Culinary experience.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is passionate about hospitality and can work well in a team environment and in a fast paced Food & Beverage environment.

**This position is for PM SHIFT, Second shift. Candidate must have availability to work from 3pm until 11pm.**

Position Requirements:

Must be able to follow food safety guidelines
Must be able to operate kitchen cleaning equipment to include kitchen dish washing machines
Must be able to stand for duration of shift and load dish washing machines
Duties will also include proper washing of pots and pans and banquet food transport to hotel meeting rooms
Must be able to complete a variety of kitchen cleaning duties
Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as independently

Candidates will need to be available for PM shift scheduling - 3PM-11PM. Scheduled days will include weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

1 Year experience in a fast paced stewarding, restaurant, culinary or similar environment
