Position Overview

• Willingness to educate our customers to improve their knowledge of the game, course policies and rules as they pertain to the game of golf.

Supervision Received

• PA staff reports to and communicates directly with the golf shop staff on duty during their shift.
• This position reports to the Golf Shop Supervisor on Duty and indirectly to the head golf professional.

Supervision Exercised

• The PA supervises players and their conduct on the golf course. At times, this can be challenging and at other times, it can be the best office with the best scenery of any of the positions on the property.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred

• Prior golf course experience is preferred.
• Successful conflict resolution experience
• Knowledge of the game of golf as a player.
• Preference will be given to those that can work weekends and holidays in our Prime Season (May through October).

Recreation Industry Proviso

The golf industry in Colorado has a seasonal nature and due to the potential volatility of the seasons in Colorado, there is no guarantee of hours worked during any given week. Our shifts and needs vary every day, and the golf course is open seven days a week much of the year. There is a high probability that you will be asked to work weekends, holidays, and the occasional split-shift. Leadership works diligently to provide a positive, team-oriented work environment for all of our employees.

Compensation

This position when compared in duties in the area averages $14.42 /hour without benefits or guaranteed hours.

Indirect Compensation
