Primary Responsibilities
- Contacts customers face-to-face, by telephone and/or email, to confirm, coordinate, and update details for scheduled catering activities
- Details each group’s catering needs which may include but is not limited to: menu planning, meal time, and room set up
- Tracks all guarantees and deadlines based on contract
- Coordinates with the Executive Chef and Catering Manager to ensure specified arrangements are carried out as planned
- Completes projects as directed in relation to the area of responsibility
- Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Food Runners, Servers, Set Up Staff
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction
- Assists management in communicating any changes or new policies and procedures to the department

Qualifications & Experience
- Passion for hospitality, food, and client service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Must be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions for problems that may occur in the FOH, be self-motivated, and organized
- Computer skills a must and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel. Familiar with sales systems such as Salesforce and Caterese
- Ability to work in standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
