Located at the Troon Birmingham corporate office, this role will conduct daily accounting operations for a portfolio of facilities/properties to include all departments.
Essential Duties
- Maintains a sales journal, check register, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventories, general journal, sales tax report, depreciation accounts and financial statements.
- Posts journal entries to general ledger.
- Calculates and posts month end accruals to the general ledger.
- Prepares monthly financial statements.
- Produces computer reports such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and monthly financial statements.
- Performs daily revenue audits.
- Reconciles all bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Manages the petty cash fund.
- Prepares monthly sales tax reports.
- Provides financial information to management.
- Assists in the internal audit function.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience
Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
Frequently sits, uses hands to finger, feel or handle. Reaches with arms, talks or hears. Occasionally stands, walks, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds
