L’Ermitage Beverly Hills is thrilled to debut Poza: Classic California poolside fare reimagined, featuring Pacific Rim influences with the highest quality sourced regional produce and seafood. Our “liquid kitchen” will craft a curated roster of refreshing cocktails and spritzes. Beverages will also include select wines by the glass and popular beers—including some of LA’s finest.

Position Overview

As the Host of Poza, rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar, you are the first and lasting impression for our guests. With grace, confidence, and warmth, you will welcome every visitor, manage reservations, and orchestrate the flow of the rooftop dining experience. Your attention to detail and intuitive hospitality will set the tone for an unforgettable visit to one of Beverly Hills’ most anticipated new venues.

Key Responsibilities

Warmly welcome guests and ensure seamless check-in and seating
Manage reservations and walk-in flow using the designated reservation platform
Collaborate with service and management teams to maintain optimal table flow and guest experience
Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful touches to enhance their visit
Maintain an organized and elegant host stand and entrance area
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, colleagues, and leadership
Support overall dining room ambiance by assisting with cleanliness, lighting, and guest inquiries

Qualifications

Previous experience as a host in a luxury or lyfestyle setting preferred
Polished, professional appearance and demeanor
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a dynamic, high-volume environment
Tech-savvy with knowledge of reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy)
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
