We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hotel General Manager to lead our property's full spectrum of operations with a proactive, hands-on approach. The ideal candidate is a resourceful leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and is ready to take full ownership of the hotel’s success—from front desk service to financial performance.
As the face and driving force of the property, the GM will be responsible for strategic leadership as well as daily operational tasks – ensuring smooth execution of all functions, from housekeeping and front desk to marketing, sales, and maintenance. This is a full-time, highly engaged role requiring flexible availability across all shifts, including weekends, holidays, and emergency on-call responsiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Manager, Assistant GM, or similar leadership position in the hospitality industry.
Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams and foster a culture of accountability and excellence.
Strong experience in guest relations, revenue management, and crisis resolution.
Proficiency with PMS, OTA extranets, rate management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Flexible schedule with availability for all shifts, holidays, and on-call duties as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Provide full-spectrum leadership across all hotel departments: Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance, Sales, Marketing, and Security.
Ensure seamless execution of all daily functions, maintaining standards and operational excellence.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
Revenue Management & Sales Strategy
Optimize room inventory and implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximize RevPAR and ADR.
Collaborate with OTA, GDS, and third-party partners to improve visibility and revenue performance.
Cultivate relationships with corporate accounts, travel agents, and event organizers to grow business segments.
Financial Performance & Reporting
Oversee daily financial performance, expense management, and profitability.
Develop and manage operational budgets, labor cost controls, and capital expenditures.
Provide detailed financial and performance reporting to ownership.
Identify areas for operational efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives.
