Job Overview:As General Manager, you will be at the helm of the Art Ovation Hotel, shaping the guest experience and ensuring every aspect of operations runs smoothly and profitably. You’ll be a key player in driving our hotel’s success, from leading our dedicated team to achieving financial goals and creating an exceptional atmosphere for both guests and staff.

What You’ll Do:

Lead & Inspire: Motivate and support your team to provide exceptional service, ensuring guest satisfaction remains a top priority.
Achieve Financial Excellence: Work with the management team to meet budget targets, control costs, and drive profitability while maintaining service quality.
Guest Experience Focus: Address guest needs and concerns, maintaining a welcoming environment that reflects the hotel’s creative spirit.
Optimize Operations: Oversee all hotel operations, from payroll to purchasing, ensuring efficiency and alignment with hotel goals.
Maintain Standards: Ensure Shaner and franchise standards are followed, maintaining a safe, clean environment for both guests and staff.
Lead Daily Operations: Oversee all departments to ensure seamless execution and successful operations.
Drive Sales & Marketing: Develop and execute initiatives to establish Art Ovation Hotel as the go-to destination in Sarasota.
Train & Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training to ensure high performance, morale, and team engagement.
Engage with the Community: Serve as a visible leader, building relationships and promoting the hotel’s mission within the local community.
Maintain Guest Satisfaction: Ensure high guest satisfaction ratings and successful results in franchise inspections.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: At least five years of progressive leadership in hospitality, with proven success in managing hotel operations and exceeding financial goals.
Experience: Previous experience with Autograph, Curio Lifestyle, or other luxury brand properties
Experience: Strong background in multi-unit Food & Beverage operations, including leadership and banquet management.
Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with both guests and staff.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in hospitality management or business (or CHA certification) is a plus.
Bilingual: Spanish/English fluency is a bonus!
Leadership: Strong leadership abilities, with a focus on motivating and developing your team.
Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with hotel operations, including budgeting, cost controls, and property management systems.
