Position Objective
Responsible for the positive experience of guests through effective communication with all Service Professionals and guests. Adhere and follow Food and Beverage culture and vision in accordance to F&B core values.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for coaching and training Service Professionals as well as organizing ongoing training and development of the existing staff.
- This candidate must be knowledgeable of food & beverage trends.
- Assist the Manager with maintaining appropriate staffing levels to provide for optimal performance commensurate to volume.
- Assist the Manager in ensuring the adherence to departmental and Hotel guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Supervise all aspects of service.
- Ensure the presentation of food and beverage items are of the highest quality and consistent in preparation.
- Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of their dining experience.
- Coach and re-train employees as necessary for a successful operation
- Support other departments as many be necessary for successful operation of Hotel Bennett

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position maybe required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the Manager based upon the requirements of the hotel:
- Provide direct service to guests as needed, including, but not limited to, serving tables, bussing tables, and general clerical/cashier duties.
- Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
- Additional duties as necessary and assigned.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree.
- Experience in a quality driven leadership position is preferred but not required.
Requirements
- Strong customer service orientation and skills.
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of all menu items, prices and general service procedures.
- Must possess basic computational ability.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to work effectively in a stressful environment, communicate with others, effectively deal with customers and accept constructive criticism from supervisors.
- Must be able to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
- May be required to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
