Our restaurant is a hub of culinary delight, offering a diverse menu of delectable dishes in a warm and inviting atmosphere.  As a Hotel Restaurant Server, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a memorable stay.

As a Restaurant team member, you will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:

• Great and seat guests with a warm and welcoming attitude;
• Ensure prompt and courteous service to guests;
• Answer telephone calls and process phone orders;
• Coordinate amenity delivery requests in connection with the kitchen department;
• Address guest questions and complaints;
• Collect and process guest payments;
• Total receipts at end of shift to verify sales and clear cash register;
• Ensures tips are reported properly for tax processing;
• Clear dirty table settings and prepare the table for resetting;
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, and condiments;
• Inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness;
• Assist service staff as necessary to service guests promptly;
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and
• Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.

Job Requirements

Qualifications 

First and foremost, you need a passion for the hospitality industry. Our guests are expecting an "Arlo" experience and we deliver nothing less.

• Previous hospitality experience is a big plus
• Prior customer service experience, especially as a food server
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to our specific service standards.

Preferred Prior Experience

Six (6) months of previous customer service, restaurant and/or cashier experience

Preferred Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Required Licenses/ Certification

Food Safety Training certified or become certified within first 60 days of employment.Alcohol Awareness certified or become certified within the first 60 days of employment
