We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team at Sea Containers. As Sous Chef, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the Executive Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency are maintained at all times. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to develop and execute innovative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure adherence to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations.

• Train, mentor, and inspire kitchen staff to achieve excellence in their roles, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

• Maintain inventory levels and oversee ordering of kitchen supplies, ingredients, and equipment to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

• Monitor food costs and labor expenses, implementing strategies to optimize profitability without compromising quality.

• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline kitchen processes and enhance productivity.

• Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in all areas of the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
