Kitchen Supervisor - SeaSpray Restaurant & Banquets

Waterstone Resort & Marina, a Curio Collection by Hilton property, managed by Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Kitchen Supervisor to join our team! Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, monitor and coach department staff 
• Direct and assign employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards 
• Oversee food and beverage operations in absence of the F&B Manager
• Perform department opening and/or closing duties 
• Reinforce a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times 
• Immediately and respectfully resolve guest requests 
• Perform various other duties as assigned 

Education And Experience

• Minimum of High School education 
• Minimum of two (2) years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision
• Food Manager certification preferred or ability to secure one within 30 days of hire

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally 
• Team player 
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members 
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations
