Your Role:

As our Executive Housekeeping Manager, you will be entrusted with:

• Training and implementation of our company policies in line with OSHA standards
• Guiding and managing our housekeeping and laundry operations
• Developing departmental objectives, schedules, and budgets
• Overseeing the performance and training of the housekeeping team
• Ensuring our team is versed in all room categories and amenities
• Building strong communication channels within the hotel and with external stakeholders
• Addressing staffing requirements
• Handling staff performance issues
• Reporting maintenance needs promptly
• Stepping into the shoes of the department leader when necessary

What We're Looking For:

A dynamic individual with a minimum of three years supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping and laundry. Fluency in English and Spanish is a must, as are strong training and supervisory skills. A good candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be ready to work nights, weekends, and holidays when required. A college degree in Hospitality or a related field will give you an edge, as will familiarity with the Opera software system. The ideal candidate can work under pressure and respond effectively to a range of different situations.

Physical Requirements:

You should be able to comfortably carry, push, move and lift large, bulky and heavy objects up to 30 pounds. Expect tasks that may require prolonged standing, repetitive bending, and other physical activities.
