Belfair, a private community with two 8-hole Tom Fazio designed golf courses is renowned for its pristine grounds, exceptional service, and commitment to providing an unforgettable experience for our members. Nestled in the heart of the Low Country, our courses offer breathtaking views and top-notch facilities for golf enthusiasts.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Starter Ranger to join our team. The Starter Ranger plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the golf course by managing the flow of players, providing guidance on course rules and etiquette, and assisting with various tasks to enhance the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome golfers to the course in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage tee times and coordinate the flow of players to maintain an efficient pace of play.
• Provide information on course conditions, rules, and safety guidelines to players.
• Monitor golfer behavior and enforce course policies to ensure a positive and respectful environment.
• Assist with course maintenance tasks as needed, such as divot repair and trash removal.
• Address any player’s concerns or inquiries promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of golf etiquette, rules, and terminology.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
• Golf course experience or familiarity with golf operations is a plus.
