Position Summary:

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in hospitality sales, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry partners, and community leaders.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional materials and campaigns and manage social media.
Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions, as needed.
Prepare and manage the sales department’s budget.
Report on sales activities and performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and events.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
