Pay Rate: $30.35 per hour

This position is responsible for verifying and ensuring the accuracy of all daily revenue streams generated by the hotel:

• Accurately reviewing, auditing and reconciling all of our hotel's daily revenues streams including but not limited to night audit, front desk and food and beverage transactions.
• Accurately and promptly preparing the hotel's daily cash deposit for pick up.
• Issuing and maintaining safety deposit boxes, keys, house banks, and all house bank contracts.
• General Cashier safe, change orders, petty cash
• Preparing for management review: daily over/short report.
• Assisting with month end closing
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Candidates considered for this position must have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. An associate degree or higher is preferred.
• Minimum two (2) years of Hotel Accounting experience
• Prior cash handling experience
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office).
• Experience with hotel computer systems preferred
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and ability to compute rate, ratio and percent required.
