About the Role:

As the Assistant General Manager, you will be the backbone of our hotel operations, coordinating activities among hotel personnel and supporting the General Manager in all aspects of management. Your leadership will ensure our team operates seamlessly, providing top-notch service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Cover shifts across departments as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Team Leadership: Assign duties, observe staff performance, and provide training to uphold hotel policies and safety standards.
• Talent Development: Assist in the hiring process, conduct performance reviews, and manage personnel actions to foster a high-performing team.
• Financial Stewardship: Maintain accurate financial records, including cash flow and credit transactions, to ensure the hotel’s profitability.
• Guest Satisfaction: Resolve guest complaints and staff issues, ensuring every visitor leaves with a positive impression.
• Sales and Marketing Support: Collaborate with the General Manager on marketing efforts and respond to special requests from travel agents and groups.
• Meetings and Communication: Conduct staff meetings to communicate goals, updates, and enhance team cohesion.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in hotel operations or management preferred.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, exceptional customer service, and effective communication skills.
