Painter

The Painter will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of all areas of the hotel through high-quality painting and finishing work. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring all work meets the hotel’s high standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and experience in both interior and exterior painting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming.

• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces such as walls, ceilings, doors, and furniture.

• Mix and match paints to achieve the desired colour and finish.

• Carry out touch-ups and repairs to maintain the appearance of painted surfaces.

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule painting work with minimal disruption to hotel operations.

• Ensure all painting work is completed to the highest standards, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

• Perform regular inspections of painted surfaces throughout the hotel and address any issues promptly.

• Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the property.

Salary: £36050 + Service Charge
