Racquet Sports Administrator

General Purpose

Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Essential Duties

• Manage the Tennis Program following established guidelines.
• Communicate team opportunities to members.
• Form teams, elect captains, and support them in their roles.
• Schedule matches and manage court availability for competitive and social play.
• Address tennis disputes alongside the Court Sports Committee.
• Oversee the Pickleball Program (guidelines pending).
• Monitor tennis reservations and enforce court scheduling guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to Tennis & Pickle Ball rules and escalate issues as needed.
• Oversee social racquet events and recruit volunteers.
• Collaborate with staff to promote and ensure event success.
• Assist in promoting clinics, lessons, and activities.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance issues.

Education/Experience

• Proficient in communication, experienced with Microsoft Office and Outlook, and knowledgeable about the rules and gameplay of both tennis and pickleball.

Physical Demands

• Frequently stands, walks, uses hands; talks and hears, reaches with hands and arms, climbs, balances; stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
• Occasionally sits.
• Regularly lifts to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise

• Frequently works inside and outside with outdoor weather conditions.
• The noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses

• CPR, First Aid Certification preferred.
