Compensation: $27.00 per hour
Develops, implements and maintains quality standards for dining room facility, including supervision and direction of service staff. Ensures excellent customer service standards are maintained. Assists with department training, development and implementing customer service standards.
$25 - $27 per hour
Assists in the coordination of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Servers, Runners, Bussers, & Hosts.
Acts as a liaison between wait staff and the kitchen staff to ensure timely and appropriate communications.
Ensures guests are immediately attended to upon arrival and manages customer traffic flow on the restaurant floor.
Responds to customer questions or concerns regarding any menu item or various other facets of food service.
Ensures guests are satisfied with the service provided and that items are replenished as needed.
Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to management.
Ensures all side work is completed, including all cleaning of dining room and storage areas.
Ensures established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques are followed.
Helps ensure all service associates are knowledgeable of the menu items.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Conducts pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts, etc.
Ensures that the dining room and dining room facilities are kept clean, well-stocked and organized.
Circulates throughout the dining room facilities to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standards are met.
Greets guests at tables to ensure complete customer satisfaction attention to guest needs.
Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner. Assists with controlling the flow of the room by ensuring guests are seated in each section by rotation.
Circulates on the restaurant floor, continually checking with the guests and the service staff to ensure that everything is to the guests’ satisfaction.
Assists with daily activities to include: serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, room service and general clerical/cashier duties.
Void/Comp/Discount as needed for service recovery, when food was made but incorrect and need to re-ring etc.
Associate’s degree (AA); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears. Occasionally sits; climbs or balances. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
