Our line cooks require varying degrees of communication and culinary skills. The desired cook candidate will have hotel cooking experience and a culinary degree. All candidates should have a well-rounded knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures. The culinary positions will work single or multiple stations in the kitchen and some require significant supervision and training, while others will require leadership skills and advanced knowledge and skill.

Requirements

Intermediate Cook

Requires good verbal communication skills.
2 years of previous line experience preferred.
Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
Able to work single station in the kitchen.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Intermediate/Advanced Cook

Requires great communication skills.
3 years of previous line experience preferred.
Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills.
Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
Requires moderate supervision and training, may be required to give direction in Supervisor’s absence.

Advanced Cook

Requires refined communication skills.
3 years of previous line experience preferred.
Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.
Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills.
Able to work multiple stations in the kitchen.
Ability to give direction in Sous Chef’s absence.
Organizational skills, computer skills, and cost control experience preferred.
