About the role
Four Seasons at The Surf Club

Under the supervision of the Director of Housekeeping, Assistant Director of Housekeeping, and Assistant Housekeeping Managers, the Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for answering all Housekeeping telephone calls and facilitating the operating efficiency of the department. As a point of contact with the guest, the Coordinator plays a vital role in terms of guest perception. Directs a section of the Housekeeping staff to assure that guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to exacting standards to ensure Four Seasons standards are being achieved in the housekeeping area.

What you will do

Responsible for answering all housekeeping incoming telephone calls while ensuring maximum operating efficiency of the department by directing all requests properly.
Conducts self in a professional manner at all times. Adheres to the established standards of conduct and house rules, fire regulations, and department procedures and policies.
Dresses in issued uniforms and ensures a neat, clean and tidy appearance at all times.
Reports to shift on time. Is aware of schedule at all times and if unable to attend work, notifies the supervisor in adequate time.
Assist with stripping, cleaning and inspecting rooms as needed based on operational needs.
Managing all arrival rooms to minimize guest’s wait time “Queue Rooms”
Follow up to ensure all guest service times are honored.
Ensure all arrival rooms are inspected by 4pm check in time.
Complete appropriate glitch reports and immediately alert supervisor for immediate follow up—keep managers informed for follow up.

What you bring

At least 1 year experience within the same or similar position with hospitality; previous housekeeping or supervisory experience preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills
Computer literate in Microsoft Word & Excel
