Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Dishwasher. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, maintain a steady supply of clean dishes, and assist with basic food preparation tasks.

$22 - $23 per hour, 6 hour shifts, 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Dishwashing

• Operate and maintain the dishwasher, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized.
• Hand-wash delicate items and large pots/pans as needed.
• Ensure that clean dishes are promptly restocked to their proper places.

Putting Away Orders

• Receive and inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality.
• Unpack, organize, and store food items, supplies, and equipment in the appropriate areas.
• Rotate stock to ensure the freshest items are used first, and manage inventory to minimize waste.

Kitchen Cleanliness And Organization

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
• Clean and sanitize countertops, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Rudimentary Food Prep

• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing simple ingredients, and assembling dishes under the supervision of the kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety guidelines and kitchen protocols.

Team Support

• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
