Position: Director IT

Location: Corporate Office, Uniondale, NY

Summary:

Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions is a dynamic and growing hospitality company committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences. We operate a portfolio of hotels across various brands, including Hilton, Marriott, and IHG. As we expand, we are seeking a visionary Director of Technology to lead our IT initiatives and drive innovation.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with our business goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to define the technology vision for the organization.
Vendor Management: Work closely with IT vendors to ensure seamless implementation, maintenance, and support of technology solutions. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships.
Brand Standards: Familiarize yourself with major brand standards (Hilton, Marriott, IHG) and ensure our technology infrastructure complies with their requirements.
Business Fundamentals: Understand the hospitality industry’s nuances, including pricing strategy, guest relations, and revenue management.
IT Security: Implement robust security protocols to safeguard our systems, data, and guest information.
Microsoft Tools: Leverage Microsoft technologies effectively for productivity, communication, and collaboration.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a technology leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of brand standards and compliance.
Excellent communication skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
Familiarity with pricing strategies, revenue management, and guest satisfaction.
Proficiency in Microsoft tools and other Hospitality Software Office 365, Amadeus, Oracle, Opera, OTA Insight, OnQ, Lightspeed, PEP, Toast, Aloha,
Passion for innovation and staying abreast of industry trends.
