Qualifications, Experience And Skill Requirements
General Description of Duties and Responsibilities
o Perform clerk/cashier like duties
o Responsible for processing customer reservations for guests of the golf course
o Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process
o Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
o Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trained
o Assists in maintaining a clean, safe workplace
o Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day
o Ensure property and it's amenities are secured daily
o Assist with set-up of equipment and golf cart
Perform related duties as assigned by Professional Staff
o Perform Starter/Ranger like duties
o Responsible for welcoming and greeting of guests and players in a friendly manner
o Explaining rules and course etiquette to all groups if needed
o Wash and sanitize golf cart fleet, maintain organized storage areas and practice facility
o Assist with the set-up and organization of the golf carts and equipment for any regular tee time starts or outing
o Facilitate orderly and timely pace of play of groups to prevent delays
o Answer all questions in a friendly manner. Keep a record of starting times and golf cart numbers for each group when necessary
o Responsible for the picking up and cleaning practice balls when scheduled
o Ensure property and it's amenities are secured daily
o Perform related duties as assigned by Professional Staff
Forest Ridge Golf Club
The Club at Forest Ridge is a Troon-managed, semi-private golf club located in Broken Arrow. The club opened in 1989 and was designed by Oklahoma native Randy Heckenkemper. Our club is the centerpiece of the Forest Ridge community and provides amenities typically only available at private clubs – two beautiful clubhouses, a meticulously maintained golf course, an exclusive social club, premier services, and an upscale restaurant and bar.
Our social club, also known as The Ridge Club, is the private side of The Club at Forest Ridge. The club features a resort-style pool with a giant slide, six lighted tennis courts, pickleball courts, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, a private playground, sand volleyball, a bistro & lounge, and a full calendar of social events.
