Come work and learn from one of the best Chef’s in the Austin area! Lake Austin Spa Resort is looking for Full-Time Line Cooks, Prep Cooks and Pantry Cooks. Lake Austin Spa Resort is an all-inclusive luxury spa resort that offers a truly unique guest experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at a top destination spa resort in the U.S. according to Conde Nast Traveler.

Responsibilities:

Prepares work station before the start of each service and ensures all supplies needed are available.
Preps food for service each day.
Cooks items requested and works with other cooks in order to ensure a smooth service for our guests.
Cleans work area and assists with kitchen clean-up, takes care of leftover food while maintaining food safety and procedures.
Other line cook duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School diploma or GED, some culinary training preferred
One year of previous experience in a quality restaurant
Interested in healthy, delicious, fresh cuisine. We have our own gardens which provides a lot of our produce and herbs
Must be available to work weekends/holidays
A current Food Handlers Certificate is required prior to hiring
Must be able to pass a criminal and employment history background check
A love and passion for the culinary arts
