About the role

The Housekeeping Coordinator is the department’s main point of contact for all operational matters during a shift. Incoming phone calls are handled by the coordinator and requests are followed up accordingly. The focus points are operational efficiency and quality via efficient task distribution and spot checks. To be successful close collaboration with other departments as, Front Desk, Guest Relations and Engineering, as well as the different disciplines within the housekeeping team is required: Houseman, Linnen Room Attendants, Room Attendants and Floor Supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Create and distribute task sheets for Room Attendants and Turndown Attendants

• Liaise with Front Office to ensure optimal room assignment in case of special setups

• Ensure special setups are communicated effectively to Room Attendants

• Monitor progress of Room Attendants and Floor Supervisors to meet service times

• Respond to incoming guest requests and ensure timely follow-up

• Conduct spot checks on Floor Supervisors and VIP rooms

• Register Lost & Found and handle communication with guests

• Assisting wherever needed, always keeping the guest experience in mind

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Coordinator or Supervisor

• Strong communication skills and cultural awareness

• Understanding of Property Management systems and other Housekeeping related software. Ideally Opera Cloud and Unifocus

Shifts take place between 07:00 and 23:00 hours, Monday through Sunday. Preferences can be discussed during the interview process.
