What is a Personal Fit and how does it Work?

In order to find out if a job is “a good fit,” you’ll answer a short series of questions about compensation, skill level, and company culture. Based on your answers, you’ll receive a rating of your overall “fitness” for any given job in the current listings, letting you know before you apply if this position is a good match for you or not.

Once you’ve logged into your account, you’ll complete your profile with information about your desired salary, the values that define you, and any additional perks that you care about as well as your skills and experience.

Your Personal Fit is calculated using those three categories. 

  • Once you identify the salary range you want, Hcareers will recommend jobs within that level. 
  • The skills survey will match your qualifications and experience against the job requirements. Be sure you read each question carefully and answer thoroughly to ensure you’re indicating your interests, education, and abilities clearly. 
  • The culture fit attempts to determine what workplace values are important to you. You’ll be asked about the perks and benefits that appeal to you and what experiences you’ve had that will strengthen your current qualifications.

Once you have your personal fit assessment, you can apply for jobs that match the information you’ve provided.
