Jeremy AbramsonDirector of OperationsJeremy Abramson joined Wischermann Partners in 2019 as Director of Operations. Jeremy leads various operational excellence and innovation functions at Wischermann Partners. He supports and leads several Wischermann Partners properties and is also very engaged in new hotel openings. Working with his counterparts, Jeremy helps to ensure that the property teams execute to their maximum performance with a hands-on approach. He focuses on creating a lasting culture of empowerment and success throughout his teams. Developing and implementing standard, yet innovative, operating procedures and consistent service excellence, Jeremy strives to develop unique experiences with differentiating characteristics.
Prior to joining Wischermann partners, Jeremy served as General Manager in multiple upper upscale and luxury properties. Most recently, Jeremy opened a luxury boutique resort in Grand Cayman, which received several accolades for guest service and design in the Caribbean. Spending eight years in Miami, he oversaw the redesign and refurbishment of Casa Faena, a boutique hotel and Faena Hotels’ first US property. In addition to these roles, Jeremy has held key positions with many innovative and creative brands, such as Soho House and the Palms Hotel & Spa.
As a Wisconsin native, Jeremy now resides in Minneapolis, MN.
MARTIN SCHOOLEYVice President of OperationsMartin Schooley joined Wischermann Partners Executive Team in 2019 as Vice President of Operations, having previously served as General Manager of the Le Meridien Chicago-Oakbrook Center, a market-leading, four diamond, lifestyle property. Mr. Schooley is a 30-year veteran in the hospitality industry with Marriott International.
Prior to joining Wischermann, Mr. Schooley served in numerous executive leadership positions in downtown, resort, airport and suburban properties across various brands.
Mr. Schooley believes in an associate-forward culture where dignity and respect are the cornerstones of performance. His operational expertise and team building skills drive profit maximization for owners while creating personal guest experiences. He takes pride in operational innovation which has resulted in increased profit and higher margins.
An involved community leader, Schooley served seven years as fundraising chair for Marriott’s Chicago Business Council serving Children’s Miracle Network, helping local children’s hospitals exceed fundraising goals. He also served his communities on local boards including Oak Brook Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Moderator for the Board of Deacons in his local church.
Schooley and his properties have received awards and recognition for Community Service, Financial Achievement and Director of the Year awards.
Schooley and his wife Mary have three children and are currently based in Chicago. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri.
