Job Description

We are looking for a tenacious, talented and well- connected Sr. Director of Event Sales with preferred ties in the Los Angeles Community. This position will lead the charge in developing new accounts and opportunities at our very prestigious, historic, and iconic Los Angeles Venue. 

This position, additionally, will lead a team of talented Sales Directors, Managers and Coordinators to bigger and better heights. If you a looking for a unique place to work, where it is fun to come into every day and be part of something special – this is your chance!

Desired Skillsets: 

• Several years’ experience leading Sales teams and driving results

• Preferred sales experience in hospitality, stadium settings, large venues, event and/or hotel sales

• Strong ties to Los Angeles community

• Strong closer

• Excellent organizational skills with emphasis on achieving individual and team goals 

• Understand and embrace business development and research target accounts for advance knowledge of potential 

• Respond to inquiries and leads in a timely and professional manner. Be adept in selling catering and large group venue space and servicing events 

• Actively up-sell each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity 

• Arrange site inspections and tastings as needed for closing the deal 

• Verify business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery 

• Develop and lead a cohesive team with focus on developing and meeting revenue goals 

• Increase customer loyalty by delivering service excellence 

• Develop customer relationships in order to grow the account 

• Have a strong understanding of product, competition, LA community and goals 

• Stay up to date on competitors and trends 

• Work with team to develop new market strategies to attract new business 

• Manage all details of event are executed flawlessly

• Execute accurate contracts for all events, maximizing food, beverage and site rentals 

• Creates accurate budgets for events, and P&L’s as needed 

• Ensure we are delivering the best service and are engaged with our guests/clients

• Work with Marketing Department on website and social media opportunities 

• Other duties as assigned
