We are currently searching for a General Manager for our high quality, full service downtown Cleveland, OH Hotel – One of the newest hotels to join the Pyramid Hotel Group Family! Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Cleveland within walking distance to all attractions and sports venues, our hotel boasts world class amenities combined with significant meeting space and multiple outlets, including fine dining.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, this is a highly empowering position requiring high energy and the ability to motivate, cultivate and mentor a high-performance team devoted to achieving the highest standards of guest satisfaction and exceptional service. Collaborative interaction with ownership also a must. We value forward thinking, progressive and creative personalities.

The General Manager is the director for the total operation of the hotel focusing on the following:

  • Drives revenue across all areas in hotel
  • Creates and implements a cohesive Hotel Marketing Plan including Direct Sales, Advertising, Marketing, Revenue Management, Ecommerce, Online Reputation Management, Hotel F&B and Hotel Programming
  • Ability to drive unique points of differentiation for outstanding guest experience
  • Strong food and beverage background and focus
  • Creates and implements a cohesive Hotel Business plan
  • Highly detailed with minimum of four-star service experience
  • Exceeds guest satisfaction benchmarks both internal and online
  • Drives associate experience and culture
  • Drives GOP, Flow thru and NOI per key
  • Enhances hotel service and product quality
  • Drives community relations
  • Collaborates weekly with ownership

Job Requirements

  • 4-year College degree required, preferably in Hotel Restaurant Management, Accounting/Finance or business.
  • Proven record as a successful leader and effective communicator as a General Manager with measurable results in all key financial, revenue generation, guest and employee relation benchmarks.
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of full-service, high quality General Management experience.
