Maplewood Suites Extended Stay is seeking a highly motivated, results driven and experienced F&B professional to join our team as Director of Food & Beverage. We are looking for someone who takes ownership and is proud of their work.
The Director of Food & Beverage (DOFB) is required to maintain a profitable Food & Beverage Department while producing high quality products delivered to our guests at an exceptional service level.
The duties of the DOFB involve oversight, direction and control of all food and beverage operations on both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) operations. The operations include the bar and beverage service, restaurant and food service, room service, banquets and catering, breakfast and lobby market.
The ideal candidate will be well organized and have excellent communication skills. Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques and ensures compliance with all local and state regulations, laws and requirements. Works well in a fast paced, customer service-oriented environment – performs duties under pressure and meets deadlines in a timely manner. Candidate must possess the ability to multi-task, often simultaneously, and be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience / management experience in food & beverage operations, preferably in hotel F&B operations. ServSafe and TIPS certification, or equivalent, is preferred. Management experience is required.
Requires schedule flexibility and open availability. This is not a Monday-Friday 9-5 position. This position often requires long hours including nights, weekends, holidays and it is expected as an exempt employee that the DOFB works whatever hours are required to ensure the responsibilities are completed.
