Job Description


To supervise and establish leadership as well as monitor the performance for the Front Drive Staff which include Bell and Valet. To provide assistance and services to guests in order to ensure that their arrival and departure experience is pleasurable and informative.

  • Conduct daily stand-ups with staff.
  • Record and assign tasks and maintain accurate logs.
  • Monitor Guest and Group Transportation.
  • Maintain organization of the front drive area and keeping the fire lane clear.
  • Utilize attendance tracking systems.
  • Inventory staff equipment and ensure equipment is logged and the set up for a maintenance plan.
  • Oversee fleet vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
  • Complete training of Bell/Valet Staff as directed by Guest Services Supervisors and managers.
  • Oversee the front drive operation and proper documentation of keys
  • Valet’s Guest and Member vehicles, and maintains valet program.
  • Responsible for a clean and neat appearance by Staff Members.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the Front Drive, Podium, and Bell Storage Room, key closet, and lobby
  • Understand all amenities and services offered by the Resort.
  • To be conversant with all resort promotional programs (guest related).
  • Ability to problem solve and provide follow up.
  • Speak with guests in a friendly, warm manner, making them feel welcome to the hotel.
  • To ensure Staff is compliant with Departmental Steps of Service.
  • Operate company, guest and member vehicles both automatic and standard.
  • Perform additional duties as required by Management, Bell Captain and/or business demands.


  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two Years experience as Bell Services Supervisor at a high end Resort/Hotel preferred.


  • Be able to work in extreme weather environments for long periods of time.
  • Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, and able to lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Be able to work in standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be familiar with local area and attractions.
  • Valid drivers license required with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.

John SpeersVice President of OperationsJohn Speers, Vice President of Operations, oversees day-to-day operations of the company's hotels and resorts. He brings an exceptional background in luxury and Five Star/Five Diamond operations, having previously served as Senior Vice President overseeing properties such as Chatham Bars Inn and the Inn at Perry Cabin, as well as the Managing Director for The Little Nell Hotel, Residences at Little Nell, and The Aspen Mountain Club.
