Motivated individual needed to participate in the development, implementation and leadership of the total pre-and-post opening sales and marketing efforts for an exciting new-build mixed use: full service lifestyle boutique hotel project in downtown Flushing, NY. Ideal candidate will have NYC and hotel pre-opening experience. Experience with international (Chinese) business, business transient, group and corporate account acquisition and prospecting is extremely important. Responsibilities include: securing and maintaining new accounts, supervising activities of sales personnel and developing and executing a cogent sales & marketing and public relations strategy to maximize the exposure and profitability of the hotel while maintaining superior customer satisfaction. Individual will work closely with Revenue Management to maximize all revenue opportunities. Expertise in working with a recognized hotel franchise brand is preferred. Ideal candidates will have a proven record of successful market share penetration and RevPAR growth above the market.
