Concord Hospitality Enterprises is currently seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, experienced Director of Sales for our Holiday Inn Express & Suites located in Scottsdale in the popular Old Town District. Nestled deep in the Sonoran Desert, Scottsdale is an oasis that offers excitement and attractions of a busy metropolis, as well as the quiet and laid-back atmosphere of a Western Town. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites offers easy access to area attractions and the great desert landscape. This hotel is host to 169 guest rooms including some beautiful suites as well as an 875 sq ft event room. The hotel’s location in Scottsdale places guests near such areas as corporate, medical and university destinations.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in select service hotel sales operations with a strong background in BT and leisure sales, preferred proficiency in IHG operating systems such as OPERA and Holidex as well as prior or current experience in Delphi. The candidate should exemplify a proven employment track record, established sales account base, market experience, and be a leader in the industry.
Concord provides excellent assistance to our hotels with an assigned Revenue Analyst as well as eCommerce/Digital Marketing support representative which the DOS will work closely with to align both these areas for maximum profit potential.
DOS JOB SUMMARY: Develop and foster hotel business through direct sales, marketing, telemarketing, direct mail, and tours of hotel. This is an advanced level position designed to lead a sales office in the solicitation of new and maintenance of existing transient, group, and meeting room business. The Director of Sales is responsible for all sales/marketing and advertising tasks, public relations and administrative reporting. As the DOS, you will be the liaison with IHG to manage all sales and marketing initiatives that are brand-wide and to network with National Sales and local accounts to set up our client base including RFP’s and annual contracts. The DOS will be responsible for ongoing development of the sales team and supporting team members within the hotel such as Front Desk, etc.
Concord Director of Sales actively develop partnerships with the local Visitors Bureau and other destination partners, and assist the General Manager in operating a profitable hotel through strong revenue strategy, creative marketing both with the brand and locally in the Phoenix/Scottsdale markets, and promote a professional sales culture.
