We are expanding! Hilton Columbus Downtown broke ground on a second tower coming in 2022. Once the tower opens, the hotel will offer 1000 rooms including 85 suites, 75,000 square feet of meeting space including 3 ballrooms, a wood burning live-fire restaurant with a High Street entrance, a rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the city, a lobby bar, additional dinning options, modern wellness amenities, and direct connect to the Convention Center.
The Director of Marketing develops, directs and leads the overall development of marketing, public relations and sales initiatives and related programs for the hotel. Provides conceptual and strategic thinking and planning. Conducts and analyzes market research and data. Negotiates marketing programs and packages for purchases. Documents and evaluates market conditions and trends. This position could be remote based.What will I be doing?
Oversees all Marketing Planning & Execution strategies. Accountable for the development, management, execution and measurement of all aspects of the marketing/branding strategies to include, but not limited to: Positioning, Marketing Budgets, Social Media, Websites, Advertising, Collateral, and Content. All efforts should be focused on maximizing performance. Success measures include: budget achievement, increasing topline revenue, optimizing expenses and achieving channel/market share objectives.
As a member of the hotel's Executive Committee reporting directly to the General Manager, this role requires regular interaction with hotel's Director of Sales, Director of Revenue Management, Director of Finance and Director of Food & Beverage. This position is a managerial role that is responsible for the hiring, development and success of the on-property marketing team.
